Workshop #1: Basic Jewelry Construction
This basic 2-hour class teaches the fundamentals of working with metal and beads, materials and tools. You will learn what is needed, what would be nice and what to avoid. Whether you want to learn how to design and construct jewelry, or just repair those favorite earrings that broke, this class is for you!
Lots of hands-on practice at bending, shaping, breaking and making, culminating in a cute pair of earrings you will love to wear or give as a gift.
Earring kits will be available for purchase containing everything needed for this project, priced between $6.00 and $10.00. You can request the style you prefer! Or bring your own beads and see what you can do. Classes will be small (limited to no more than eight per class), with lots of personal attention. All tools will be supplied, but please feel free to bring your own if you have favorites!
